Political Compass

I found a neat new toy. It shows where you are in the political spectrum.

I don't know what this is worth, but I'm happy to see the people I'm grouped with.

The website makes a good argument to destroy the popular media stance on left / right leanings. From the website:

... the opposite of fascism is not communism but anarchism (ie liberal socialism), and that the opposite of communism ( i.e. an entirely state-planned economy) is neo-liberalism (i.e. extreme deregulated economy).

Like I said, I don't know if this is worth anything - but the site made me think differently about political leanings - to think of them in more than a one-dimensional left / right manner.
